 Beginning of the foot-path route is on the railway station Popradske pleso (1280m asl). Near the station is wide parking place. This is an asphalt route which are using also mountain bikers. Take care they are driving fast!
The blue marked route is rising up gradiently. After 30 minutes by walk you will reach the beautiful view. Stay here for a minute and lay off.
From there is it only easy walking upwards. The scenery around is fascinating many people. Mengusovska dolina (valley) is really nice.
 At the end is the route turning around the lake. Before you will see the lake is a place for lay off but it's not necessary to stay here, the challet (1494m asl) is only few minutes far.
Experineced hikers have two availabilites: Ostrva (1979,5m asl) or Rysy (2498,7m asl). Only 30 minutes far by walk on the yellow marked foot-path is Symbolicky cintorin (A symbolic cemetery dedicated to the victims of mountains). From there to the railway station it tooks about one hour or so.
