 Zelene pleso (1551m asl) is one of most beautiful lakes in High Tatras. It's really place where you will find quiet and breath. The route is more exacting, not so easy cause it's long.
The classic route is starting at bus stop Biela voda (920m asl). Walk on the yellow marked route up. The stoned route is good quality. In point where is meeting a river "Biela voda" it is sharp. After you cross a wooden bridge you have only few hunderts meters to Salviovy pramen. You have walked around one hour to this lay off point.
Now it's route screwing to the wood. The structure of foot-path is other, there are great rocks. Watch carefully where you give your foots! After rainy days is this path watery. After ten minutes you will reach an intersection with a route from Mala Svistovka. Don't turn left, still hold the yellow mark.
Middle section is harder. Serpentine road is not easy. Fortunately this section isn't long. It tooks only 15 minutes. Last section is leading near the creek to the challet Zelene pleso. Around us is beautiful scenery of High and Belaer Tatras. From Salviovy pramen to the challet by walk it tooks about 50 minutes.
 We found ourselves in the mountains (from left hand it is Velka Svistovka, before you Jastrabia veza and little bit righter is Jahnaci stit). The best route back is again with a yellow marked path – the same like you have walk upwards. The bus station is about 2 hours far.
But there are several interesting path that you can use. Did you remember on the intersection above Salviovy pramen? It's green marked path which is finishing crossing the route under Mala Svistovka. Here change the path to a green marked one. You will walk through the forest. After one hour or so you will reach a station of cable railway called "Start". Tatranska Lomnica is only 30 minutes far by walk.
If you like, you can finish a hike in Tatranske Matliare. Nine hunderts meters below Salviovy pramen is an intersection with a blue marked path. After 40 minutes by walk you will stand near hotels in Tatranske Matliare.
